Job  Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our healthcare team in a hospital setting in Ohio. As an RN in our hospital, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, promoting patient safety, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.   1. Patient Assessment and Care Delivery:
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including physical, emotional, and psychosocial factors.
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs, diagnoses, and treatment goals.
    • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and established protocols, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
  2. Monitoring and Evaluation:
    • Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, identifying changes in condition and intervening promptly as needed.
    • Evaluate patient outcomes, document findings, and revise care plans as necessary to promote optimal recovery and wellness.
    • Collaborate with healthcare team members to review patient progress, discuss care plans, and coordinate interdisciplinary care delivery.
  3. Patient and Family Education:
    • Provide education to patients and families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
    • Teach patients and families how to manage medications, perform treatments, and maintain health and wellness at home.
    • Address questions, concerns, and misconceptions, and offer emotional support and encouragement throughout the healthcare journey.
  4. Collaborative Care Coordination:
    • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care delivery.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, care conferences, and patient care meetings to discuss treatment plans, goals, and progress.
    • Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs, preferences, and rights are respected and addressed throughout their hospitalization.
  5. Documentation and Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and quality improvement initiatives related to nursing practice and patient care.
    • Adhere to infection control protocols, medication safety practices, and other institutional policies to promote patient safety and reduce risks of adverse events.

Experience

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.

 

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Hourly Pay: $50 to $60 hr on w2.
